Električni motocikli sami po sebi privlače pozornost, no kada ga napravite toliko otkvačeno kao Deus Electric, ljudi će zajamčeno okretati glave za njime. Još samo kada bi znali od čega je sve sklepan…
Deus Electric napravila su u samo pet tjedana dva Australca, Ryan Mischkulnig i Joe Fischer, na osnovi stare Honde C90 Cub, s koje su skinuli benzinski motor i sve ostale dijelove koje imaju veze s pogonom na fosilna goriva. Na njihovo mjesto nije stavljeno – ama bas nšta – praznina između sjedala upravljača zjapi i na prvi pogled otkriva da nešto nedostaje.
Za pogon koriste 5.2kW elektromotor kojeg hrani 1.5 kWh LiFePO4 baterija, posuđeni s električno MX bicikla H-52 Hurricane i smješteni u stražnji kotač. Guvernal je preuzet sa ženskog gradskog bicikla, a prednje svjetlo je far automobila old-timera marke Marshall, dok je sjedalo napravljeno od stare podloge za vježbanje koja je prekrivena kožom sa ni manje ni više – stare kožne jakne.
Ni sam nisam siguran zvuči li ovo očajno ili cool. Dok se ne gledaju slike, ne zvuči baš reprezentativno, ali čim oko skrene na galeriju, jezičac na vagi poleti u drugu stranu. Što vi kažete; čudan ili čudesan?
